Arnaud Lechevalier est maître de conférences à l’Université de Paris 1 et chercheur  au Lise ainsi qu'au Centre Marc Bloch (Centre franco-allemand de recherche en sciences sociales à Berlin).
A l’articulation des sciences économiques et de la sociologie, ses travaux portent sur l’évolution des systèmes sociaux en Europe, notamment dans le cadre d’une approche comparative franco-allemande.

  • Dynamics of national employment and social protection systems in the European Union

  • French-German comparisons: welfare state, pension policy, long-term care, employment policy

  • Germany, federalism, path of the (economic and social) “German model”.

  • Justice between generations

  • Gender and gender regimes, gender and social sciences.
